Doug is a Registered Dietitian who is passionate about nutrition. He practices an integrative and functional approach to nutritional counselling when working with patients. Doug specializes in gut, brain, and mental health, as well as helping people improve their nutrition for long-term optimal health. He believes that a diet rich in nutrient-dense, whole foods can go a long way in supporting peoples’ well-being. Doug has worked in both hospital and private practice settings providing 1:1 nutritional therapy as well as in group education settings, workshops, and webinars. He received his MHSc in Nutrition at the University of Toronto after completing a Post Grad Internship in Clinical Nutrition at St. Michael’s Hospital. Additionally, he has completed continuing education in integrative and functional medicine (Level 1 and 2) from Next Level Nutrition.
