Dr. McGuire completed his professional training, Doctor of Chiropractic, at Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto after receiving his Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Kinesiology and Health Sciences from the University of Waterloo. He has 11 years of experience treating patients in an orthopaedic rehabilitative environment and has specialized training in concussion management, vestibular treatment and concussion/impact testing. In his work. Dr. McGuire enjoys seeing patients through the rehabilitative process and treating them to allow them to achieve optimal performance in athletics or just to improve their overall health. Jessica holds a Diploma in Osteopathic Manual Practitioner (DOMP), and received her training in Paris. She has a positive and gentle approach to patient care. After she experiencing the healing effects of osteopathy, she developed a keen interest in holistic health and decided to enroll in a five-year full-time program at IDO School of Osteopathy in Paris.After graduating, she established a busy practice for 4 years in central Paris, while teaching anatomy and clinical practice training to osteopathic’s students. Her treatments combine mobilizations, visceral, cranial-sacral and fascial techniques to encourage the body’s natural healing abilities. Jessica has also been involved in the performing arts, an environment she is very passionate about. She has worked as an Osteopath for musical theatre shows, dance companies, and various singers, giving highly tailored treatments to address artists’ specific needs.
Aiming to continue her professional development, she studied kinesiology taping, posturology, and cupping, and plans soon to deepen her understanding in Chinese medicine. Dr. Shivji began his studies at McMaster University in Hamilton, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences. He went on to complete his medical training at St. George’s University which allowed him to do clinical training in Brooklyn as well as doing a transfer program in the UK. While completing his residency in Philadelphia, Dr. Shivji discovered his passion for helping people one-on-one. He began focusing his practice on preventative and obesity medicine and helping people achieve their health-related goals. He recently held his own cooking class series to demonstrate healthy recipes for his clients.
Dr. Shivji brings this passion to his Family Medicine practice at HealthOne. In his spare time, he enjoys playing hockey and is an avid Leafs and Raptors Fan!
Dr. Khun-Khun graduated in 2013 with an MD from the Medical University of the Amercas in Nevis. She then moved on to train with the University of Oklahoma, Tulsa in family medicine from 2015-2018. Dr. Khun-Khun was driven to medicine not only because of her academic interest, but its’ ability to allow her to connect with diverse populations and have a positive impact on people and communities. Her passion for family medicine lies in preventative care and its ability to help individuals reach their specific health goals. In her work, Dr. Khun-Khun believes in setting personal goals for health and identifying what type of lifestyle is comfortable and sustainable for each individual. Her future ambitions include establishing a practice that she can grow with and becoming involved in her community to raise awareness surrounding health and wellness.
Dr. Khun-Khun’s hobbies and interests outside of work include travelling, reading, swimming and volleyball.
Dr. He is a Family Doctor and Sports and Exercise Medicine Doctor who provides comprehensive primary care for a diverse range of patients. He strongly believes in patient-centered care and emphasizes shared decision-making with the patient as part of his practice. Dr. He frequently manages a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions ranging from acute injuries to chronic conditions. Based on the condition, he may recommend medications, injections, or refer to other practitioners as appropriate. He also routinely conducts joint injections as part of his practice.
Dr. He has a Masters in Sports Exercise Medicine and a Medical degree from Western University. Along with this, he completed his Family Medicine residency at the University of Toronto.
Dr. Kara completed her family medicine training at Toronto Western Hospital through the Department of Family and Community Medicine at the University of Toronto. Prior to this, she studied at McGill University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Anatomy and Cell Biology. Dr. Kara’s love for family medicine comes from developing meaningful relationships with diverse patients of all ages and supporting them through various life stages. Specifically, she has a strong interest in the areas of women’s health, mental health and preventative care. She aims to educate and empower her clients to actively participate in their healthcare decision-making.
Outside of the clinic, she loves baking, DIY projects, yoga, traveling, visiting cafes and spending quality time with loved ones.

Prior to this, she studied Medicine at University College Dublin and obtained degrees in Computer Science and Psychology from Western University. Dr. Lue-Quee enjoys all areas of general practice and has particular interests in sports medicine and women's health. While living in the Gold Coast, she worked as an athlete doctor at the 2018 Commonwealth Games and the team doctor for the Gold Coast Suns Women's AFL team. Her goal is to build a successful practice where patients can optimize their health while feeling supported and safe.
Dr. Lue-Quee enjoys yoga and tennis outside of work, as well as cheering on our Toronto sports teams - especially The Raptors.
Dr. Ghassemian is dual certified to treat adults and children in the field of Allergy and Immunology. She completed her medical training at Queen’s University and her Internal Medicine Residency and sub-specialty training in Clinical Allergy and Immunology at Western University. She enjoys the impact that diagnosing, treating, and even de-labelling allergies can have on patients and their care. She is excited to be joining the team at HealthOne in downtown Toronto!
In her spare time, Dr. Ghassemian enjoys exploring Toronto, travelling, cooking, and hopes to learn some new languages.
Tayla is an experienced Osteopath focused on helping her patients recover from injuries. She specializes in treating dancers at any level as well as patients with neck pain, headaches, postural tension, and hypermobility. She uses a structural or biomechanical approach, applying techniques such as soft tissue massage, mobilizations, dry needling, and muscle energy techniques. Tayla is dedicated to educating her patients on their conditions and guiding them through tailored recovery plans that encourage active participation and promote long-term wellness. Tayla completed a five-year program at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT), where she earned her Bachelor of Health Science and Bachelor of Applied Science (Osteopathy). She has additional certifications in myofascial cupping, dry needling, and clinical pilates. Before moving to Toronto, Tayla practiced as an osteopath and clinical pilates instructor in Melbourne, Australia. She is also a member of the Ontario Association of Osteopathic Manual Practitioners.

Alayssa is a Registered Massage Therapist who has provided massage therapy services in a variety of established hotels and health clinics. She uses many different treatment approaches and modalities including cupping, fascial work, passive stretches, hydrotherapy, hot stone, and wood therapy. Alayssa is skilled in developing customized treatment plans aimed at improving her patients’ areas of pain. She has completed additional training in Brazilian lymphatic drainage and has experience providing this service to high-profile clients in downtown Toronto. Alayssa graduated from the Sutherland-Chan School of Massage Therapy after completing a Bachelor of Arts degree from York University. Amir is a Registered Massage Therapist who is skilled in treating a wide range of musculoskeletal dysfunctions. Amir has worked in various clinical settings for over 10 years, giving him the skills and knowledge to help his patients achieve their therapeutic goals. DeShantée is a skilled Registered Massage Therapist who graduated from the Massage Therapy program at Georgian College. She is skilled in many types of massages including, Swedish, Deep tissue, Sports and Prenatal. She is dedicated to providing quality massages for overall health and wellness and customizes treatments for each individual based on their unique needs. DeShantée has always worked best with her hands and as her passion for helping others grew as she became a Registered Massage Therapist. She is an advocate for living a healthy lifestyle and strives to have a positive impact on each individual.
Outside of work, DeShantée likes to expand her knowledge through reading and learning new skills. She loves to try new things and is always up for an adventure!
