Dr. Liang began his journey in healthcare with an Honours Bachelor of Science from the University of Toronto, specializing in Health and Disease. He then went on to receive his Doctorate of Optometry degree from the University of Waterloo with the Dean’s Honours List distinction.
During his optometric rotations, Andrew was placed for several months at the John D. Dingell Veterans Affair Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. He worked alongside other optometrists and ophthalmologists, managing patients with diabetes and various ocular diseases including glaucoma and macular degeneration.
Andrew opened his first practice at the HealthOne Medical Centre in North York and is excited to expand the practice to serve the downtown population. His practice includes primary care, contact lenses fitting, binocular vision training, ocular disease management and a special interest in dry eye treatment.
Dr. Liang is fluent in English and Cantonese. In his spare time, he enjoys playing piano and guitar.

Dr. Khun-Khun graduated in 2013 with an MD from the Medical University of the Amercas in Nevis. She then moved on to train with the University of Oklahoma, Tulsa in family medicine from 2015-2018. Dr. Khun-Khun was driven to medicine not only because of her academic interest, but its’ ability to allow her to connect with diverse populations and have a positive impact on people and communities. Her passion for family medicine lies in preventative care and its ability to help individuals reach their specific health goals. In her work, Dr. Khun-Khun believes in setting personal goals for health and identifying what type of lifestyle is comfortable and sustainable for each individual. While living in the Gold Coast, she worked as an athlete doctor at the 2018 Commonwealth Games and the team doctor for the Gold Coast Suns Women's AFL team. Her goal is to build a successful practice where patients can optimize their health while feeling supported and safe.

Dr. Amy Law received her Honours Bachelor of Science Degree and Doctor of Optometry Degree from University of Waterloo. Amy completed internships in various locations including ophthalmology and optometry clinic in Detroit, Michigan, and Hong Kong. She has received extensive training in therapeutic treatment and management of ocular disease under glaucoma, retinal and cataract specialist.Amy recently had the pleasure of participating in a charity mission where she provided primary optometric care and dispensed eyeglasses to underprivileged people in Honduras. She has broad experience in family eye care, including contact lenses fitting, ocular health, eye surgery co-management, pediatric, geriatric and primary care.
Amy is multi-lingual and fluent in English, Chinese and Mandarin. She enjoys playing racquet sports and scenic hikes in the GTA.

Dr. Matharu is dedicated to providing patients with high-quality eye care in a friendly and client-focused environment. She always ensures her patients are provided with the best diagnosis and care. She has a strong working knowledge of diabetic eye care, macular degeneration, chronic dry eye, and more. In addition, she has worked closely with ophthalmologists to co-manage pre- and post-surgery care for cataracts, glaucoma, and other retinal diseases. Dr. Shivji began his studies at McMaster University in Hamilton, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences. He went on to complete his medical training at St. George’s University which allowed him to do clinical training in Brooklyn as well as doing a transfer program in the UK. While completing his residency in Philadelphia, Dr. Shivji discovered his passion for helping people one-on-one. He began focusing his practice on preventative and obesity medicine and helping people achieve their health-related goals. He recently held his own cooking class series to demonstrate healthy recipes for his clients.
Dr. Shivji brings this passion to his Family Medicine practice at HealthOne. In his spare time, he enjoys playing hockey and is an avid Leafs and Raptors Fan!
Dr. Khun-Khun graduated in 2013 with an MD from the Medical University of the Amercas in Nevis. She then moved on to train with the University of Oklahoma, Tulsa in family medicine from 2015-2018. Dr. Khun-Khun was driven to medicine not only because of her academic interest, but its’ ability to allow her to connect with diverse populations and have a positive impact on people and communities. Her passion for family medicine lies in preventative care and its ability to help individuals reach their specific health goals. In her work, Dr. Khun-Khun believes in setting personal goals for health and identifying what type of lifestyle is comfortable and sustainable for each individual. Her future ambitions include establishing a practice that she can grow with and becoming involved in her community to raise awareness surrounding health and wellness.
Dr. Khun-Khun’s hobbies and interests outside of work include travelling, reading, swimming and volleyball.

Dr. Kara completed her family medicine training at Toronto Western Hospital through the Department of Family and Community Medicine at the University of Toronto. Prior to this, she studied at McGill University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Anatomy and Cell Biology. Dr. Kara’s love for family medicine comes from developing meaningful relationships with diverse patients of all ages and supporting them through various life stages. Specifically, she has a strong interest in the areas of women’s health, mental health and preventative care. She aims to educate and empower her clients to actively participate in their healthcare decision-making.
Outside of the clinic, she loves baking, DIY projects, yoga, traveling, visiting cafes and spending quality time with loved ones.

Prior to this, she studied Medicine at University College Dublin and obtained degrees in Computer Science and Psychology from Western University. Dr. Lue-Quee enjoys all areas of general practice and has particular interests in sports medicine and women's health. While living in the Gold Coast, she worked as an athlete doctor at the 2018 Commonwealth Games and the team doctor for the Gold Coast Suns Women's AFL team. Her goal is to build a successful practice where patients can optimize their health while feeling supported and safe.

Dr. Ghassemian is dual certified to treat adults and children in the field of Allergy and Immunology. She completed her medical training at Queen’s University and her Internal Medicine Residency and sub-specialty training in Clinical Allergy and Immunology at Western University. She enjoys the impact that diagnosing, treating, and even de-labelling allergies can have on patients and their care. She is excited to be joining the team at HealthOne in downtown Toronto!

Dr. Lin is a dedicated Optometrist with a passion for patient-centered care. She focuses on treating her patients and working collaboratively to improve their eye health through various eye treatments. Specializing in myopia control, advanced dry eye treatments, and fitting specialty contact lenses, she has further experience in treating corneal diseases. Dr. Lin stays current with the latest research and technology to ensure her patients receive the best care possible care during every visit.
Dr. Lin earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Waterloo in 2023 and holds a Bachelor of Science from McMaster University. She completed her residency in Cornea and Contact Lens at Mission Eye Care in Calgary, and has worked in various clinical settings, including a disease rotation in Miami and training in advanced procedures like SLT and YAG capsulotomy. She is affiliated with the Ontario Association of Optometrists, Calgary Association of Optometrists and the Calgary Society of Optometrists.

She specializes in helping clients select eyewear that matches their preferences, personal style, and lifestyle. Leveraging her experience as a medical assistant and frame and lens specialist, she advises patients on their care needs and guides them through the lens and frame selection process. Olivia also has experience with Lipiflow treatments including aftercare and follow-up. She treats each individual as a priority and always personalizes her approach based on their unique needs.
