Dr. Khun-Khun graduated in 2013 with an MD from the Medical University of the Amercas in Nevis. She then moved on to train with the University of Oklahoma, Tulsa in family medicine from 2015-2018. Dr. Khun-Khun was driven to medicine not only because of her academic interest, but its’ ability to allow her to connect with diverse populations and have a positive impact on people and communities. Robert is a skilled RMT who takes a holistic approach to working with patients. He considers all factors of a person’s health and enjoys using manual therapy techniques to help them heal. Doug is a Registered Dietitian who is passionate about nutrition. He practices an integrative and functional approach to nutritional counselling when working with patients. Doug specializes in gut, brain, and mental health, as well as helping people improve their nutrition for long-term optimal health. He believes that a diet rich in nutrient-dense, whole foods can go a long way in supporting peoples’ well-being. Doug has worked in both hospital and private practice settings providing 1:1 nutritional therapy as well as in group education settings, workshops, and webinars. He received his MHSc in Nutrition at the University of Toronto after completing a Post Grad Internship in Clinical Nutrition at St. Michael’s Hospital. Dr. Shivji began his studies at McMaster University in Hamilton, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences. He went on to complete his medical training at St. George’s University which allowed him to do clinical training in Brooklyn as well as doing a transfer program in the UK. While completing his residency in Philadelphia, Dr. Shivji discovered his passion for helping people one-on-one. He began focusing his practice on preventative and obesity medicine and helping people achieve their health-related goals. He recently held his own cooking class series to demonstrate healthy recipes for his clients.
Dr. Shivji brings this passion to his Family Medicine practice at HealthOne. In his spare time, he enjoys playing hockey and is an avid Leafs and Raptors Fan!
Dr. Khun-Khun graduated in 2013 with an MD from the Medical University of the Amercas in Nevis. She then moved on to train with the University of Oklahoma, Tulsa in family medicine from 2015-2018. Dr. Khun-Khun was driven to medicine not only because of her academic interest, but its’ ability to allow her to connect with diverse populations and have a positive impact on people and communities. Her passion for family medicine lies in preventative care and its ability to help individuals reach their specific health goals. In her work, Dr. Khun-Khun believes in setting personal goals for health and identifying what type of lifestyle is comfortable and sustainable for each individual. Her future ambitions include establishing a practice that she can grow with and becoming involved in her community to raise awareness surrounding health and wellness.
Dr. Khun-Khun’s hobbies and interests outside of work include travelling, reading, swimming and volleyball.
Dr. He is a Family Doctor and Sports and Exercise Medicine Doctor who provides comprehensive primary care for a diverse range of patients. He strongly believes in patient-centered care and emphasizes shared decision-making with the patient as part of his practice. Dr. He frequently manages a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions ranging from acute injuries to chronic conditions. Based on the condition, he may recommend medications, injections, or refer to other practitioners as appropriate. He also routinely conducts joint injections as part of his practice.
Dr. He has a Masters in Sports Exercise Medicine and a Medical degree from Western University. Along with this, he completed his Family Medicine residency at the University of Toronto.
Dr. Kara completed her family medicine training at Toronto Western Hospital through the Department of Family and Community Medicine at the University of Toronto. Prior to this, she studied at McGill University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Anatomy and Cell Biology. Dr. Kara’s love for family medicine comes from developing meaningful relationships with diverse patients of all ages and supporting them through various life stages. Specifically, she has a strong interest in the areas of women’s health, mental health and preventative care. She aims to educate and empower her clients to actively participate in their healthcare decision-making.
Outside of the clinic, she loves baking, DIY projects, yoga, traveling, visiting cafes and spending quality time with loved ones.
Dr. Lue-Quee completed her family medicine training in Australia after working for several years in orthopaedics and emergency medicine. Prior to this, she studied Medicine at University College Dublin and obtained degrees in Computer Science and Psychology from Western University. Dr. Lue-Quee enjoys all areas of general practice and has particular interests in sports medicine and women's health. While living in the Gold Coast, she worked as an athlete doctor at the 2018 Commonwealth Games and the team doctor for the Gold Coast Suns Women's AFL team. Her goal is to build a successful practice where patients can optimize their health while feeling supported and safe.
Dr. Lue-Quee enjoys yoga and tennis outside of work, as well as cheering on our Toronto sports teams - especially The Raptors.
Dr. Ghassemian is dual certified to treat adults and children in the field of Allergy and Immunology. She completed her medical training at Queen’s University and her Internal Medicine Residency and sub-specialty training in Clinical Allergy and Immunology at Western University. She enjoys the impact that diagnosing, treating, and even de-labelling allergies can have on patients and their care. She is excited to be joining the team at HealthOne in downtown Toronto!
In her spare time, Dr. Ghassemian enjoys exploring Toronto, travelling, cooking, and hopes to learn some new languages.
Mohamed is a Registered Dietitian who specializes in binge and emotional eating. His multidisciplinary approach to health and wellness combines dietetics, fitness coaching, and life coaching to help clients overcome behaviours and achieve their goals. He uses techniques such as motivational interviewing, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and emotional processing to empower clients to make informed, client-centric decisions. Mohamed holds a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Waterloo and a degree in Applied Human Nutrition & Dietetics from Mount Saint Vincent University. He has also completed various self-study courses in psychology and therapy. Mohamed is affiliated with the College of Dietitians of Ontario and has over a decade of experience in fitness and dietetics coaching, along with five years of life coaching.

Abby is an experienced Registered Nutrition Therapist who takes an integrated approach to women’s health. Her treatment is focused on maternal and infant nutrition, hormone balancing, gut health optimisation, and general lifestyle optimisation including weight loss. Abby uses a combination of behaviour change theories to help her clients make sustainable changes to their diet. She completed her Master of Nutritional Science and Bachelor of Dietetics in South Africa. Additionally, Abby is registered with the Canadian Association of Natural Nutrition Practitioners as a Registered Nutrition Therapist. Over the years, Abby worked as a private practising dietitian in South Africa and a nutrition and health coach for a nutrition startup; she looks forward to bringing her skills from these experiences to her role at HealthOne.

Susanda is a Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioner and Acupuncturist with over 20 years of experience. She has treated thousands of clients and performed a variety of treatments including acupuncture, cupping, and nutritional counselling to support their health issues. Specifically, Susanda can support patients with musculoskeletal pain, injuries, mental health conditions, digestive symptoms, spinal pelvic alignment issues and more. She takes a client-centered approach and cares deeply about connecting with each individual she works with. Susanda graduated from the Ontario College of Acupuncturist and Traditional Medicine with an honours degree in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Herbalist Diploma. Before this, she obtained an Acupuncture Diploma from the Academy of Integrated Medicine. She also has training in detoxification and reiki.

Adam has provided counselling for over 10 years working with adults, children, youth, and families in Los Angeles and Toronto. He is a highly experienced Social Worker with specific experience in rehabilitation and chronic pain, providing counselling in regards to anxiety, depression, crisis, and life changes. Adam has trained and practiced in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution Focused, Narrative, hypnosis for anxiety and chronic pain, and family therapy. He strives to work with you in a non biased, nonjudgmental, supportive and open approach. He also aims to create a caring environment for each one of his patients.
