Dr. Khatija-Imaan Kara completed her family medicine training at Toronto Western Hospital through the Department of Family and Community Medicine at the University of Toronto. Prior to this, she studied at McGill University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Anatomy and Cell Biology. Dr. Kara’s love for family medicine comes from developing meaningful relationships with diverse patients of all ages and supporting them through various life stages. Specifically, she has a strong interest in the areas of women’s health, mental health and preventative care. She aims to educate and empower her clients to actively participate in their healthcare decision-making.

Outside of the clinic, she loves baking, DIY projects, yoga, traveling, visiting cafes and spending quality time with loved ones.
