Dr. Ivana Latalisa is a passionate optometrist dedicated to evidence-based preventative eyecare. She offers comprehensive assessments that support early detection, prevention, and effective management of a wide range of ocular conditions. Dr. Latalisa provides tailored treatment plans that prioritize clarity, comfort, and long-term visual health. She guides patients through their options with clear communication and emphasizes education to help individuals take an active role in protecting their sight. Her clinical interests include glaucoma and chronic dry eye management, as well as diabetic eye care and macular health. She also evaluates complex presentations and supports patients with ongoing monitoring and preventative strategies.
Dr. Latalisa completed a Bachelor of Science (Honours) at Toronto Metropolitan University, followed by a Doctor of Optometry degree at the University of Waterloo, where she earned Dean’s Honours. She later completed a residency in Ocular Disease and Glaucoma and is a member of the Ontario Association of Optometrists.
