Non-surgical facial rejuvenation in Toronto requires both technical and artistic skill, and we uniquely customize our treatments to every patient we see. Cosmetic injectables are highly sought-after treatments that prevent and remedy visible signs of aging on the face, neck, and hands. At HealthOne MediSpa & Skin Clinic, our team of cosmetic injectors boast years of experience and training to ensure each treatment is artistically planned and carefully executed to achieve natural, timeless results.
HealthOne Skin Clinic takes pride in carrying the best dermal filler and other injectables in Toronto. We offer advanced cosmetic specialists and cutting-edge products so you can always count on having exceptional results. For dermal filler, our injectors use Restylane® and Swiss-made Belotero®, industry-known for producing a safe product that looks and feels natural. Using Botox™ Cosmetic and Dysport®, we have saved our patients years of visible aging with customized treatment plans to smooth and relax the appearance of lines and wrinkles.
Neuromodulator treatments are the gold standard for treating various types of wrinkles in the face. Botox Cosmetic® (Onabotulinum Toxin A) and Dysport® (Abobotulinum Toxin A) are injectable medications comprised of the neurotoxin Botulinum-A, which works to relax facial muscles that contribute to dynamic and static lines on the face. Both products are Health Canada and FDA approved, and safe to administer into facial muscles. Results are not permanent, which means patients can return for routine treatments every 3-4 months on average to maintain their results.
Our expert injectors have been performing neuromodulator treatments for several years, treating thousands of patients with complex facial anatomy and individual cosmetic goals. Each treatment is entirely customized depending on the desired results. Using Botox Cosmetic® and Dysport®, we can target many areas of the face to prevent and treat fine lines and wrinkles.
When injected carefully and by a skilled injector, neuromodulators such as Botox and Dysport can reveal a more youthful, refreshed appearance. During your complimentary consultation, our injections specialists will assess your areas of concern and select specific products that are best suited to your cosmetic goals.
+ Forehead Lines: injecting Botox® or Dysport® into the frontalis muscle can soften and prevent the appearance of static forehead lines.
+ Frown Lines: also known as glabella or “11 lines”, Botox® and Dysport® will smooth out static lines caused by muscle movement when frowning.
+ Bunny Lines: treatment of the nasalis muscles will reduce fine lines on the sides of the nose often caused by smiling, squinting, and laughing.
+ Crows Feet: relaxing the muscles located around the outer corner of the eyes will prevent the appearance of wrinkles around the eyes.
+ Bruxism: known as Temporomandibular Joint dysfunction or TMJ or masseter injections, Botox® and Dysport® can provide incredible relief to those who grind their teeth or wake up with jaw tension. This treatment can also provide a jaw-slimming result as well.
+ Brow Lift: injecting a small dose of neurotoxin to the tail-end of each brow can provide a subtle lift which creates an open and rested appearance for the eye area.
+ DAO: short for Depressor Anguli Oris, DAO injection will upturn the outer corners of the mouth which often pull downwards as the face ages.
+ Platysma Bands: located within the neck, injecting Botox® or Dysport® into the platysma bands works to tighten the skin, reduce the apperance of the vertical neck bands, and create visible contour around the jawline.
+ Lip Flip: Injecting a small dose of Botox® or Dysport® just outside the border of the upper lip will rotate the lip upward to reveal more of the lip itself, and prevent the inversion of the upper lip while smiling. Our qualified nurse injectors will explain all the processes related to lip injections.
+ Hyperhydrosis: Excellent for the Summer months or for a patient who frequently sweats, Botox® and Dysport® is an effective treatment to reduce sweating when injected into the back, underarms, and hands.
During your complimentary consultation, our team of experienced injectors will guide you through a customized treatment plan to ensure your Botox® or Dysport® injections appear natural and meet your cosmetic needs.

Dermal fillers, for example lip fillers, are a safe and effective non-surgical solution that can restore volume loss and stimulate collagen production in the face. Using Restylane® and Belotero® dermal fillers, our expert injectors have mastered the art of achieving balanced results to help you look and feel like your most refreshed and rejuvenated self.
Dermal fillers are comprised of hyaluronic acid gel, a replication of the hyaluronic acid substance which exists naturally in the human body. Dermal fillers break down over time due to the body’s natural production of hyaluronidase, the enzyme which metabolizes hyaluronic acid.
When injected carefully and by a skilled injector, dermal fillers such as Restylane or Belotero, can reveal a lifted, and rejuvenated appearance. During your complimentary consultation, our injections specialists will assess your areas of concern and select specific products that are best suited to your cosmetic goals.
Our wide range of dermal fillers are designed to lift, smooth fine lines and wrinkles, replenish lost volume, and improve facial balance. Many of our clients come for lip filler treatments in Toronto. See below the results of our lip filler before and after. Our expert injectors often treat the following areas:
+ Lip Augmentation: dermal filler can increase the volume of the lips, improve symmetry, smooth fine lines, and enhance the vermilion border or the overall shape of the lips. See below our results for lip fillers before and after.
+ Tear Trough (Under-Eye) Filler: reduce the appearance of tired eyes by correcting dark circles and sunken under-eyes.
+ Nasolabial Folds: also known as “smile lines” next to the mouth, this treatment will smooth out deep or pronounced facial folds to prevent a tired-looking appearance.
+ Marionette (Puppet) Lines: a lifting treatment to support loose skin and moderate lines in the lower face around the mouth and outer aspects of the chin; an excellent treatment for patients who are seeing jowls.
+ Chin and Jawline: achieve the side profile of your dreams by enhancing the structure and angle of your jawline and adding projection and refinement to your chin.
+ Cheeks: a lifting and volume-restoring treatment which will provide structural support to the midface. This can also be done to sculpt and contour the cheekbones, which gives a sophisticated and slimming appearance to the face.
+ Neck Lines: commonly known as “tech neck”, we can superficially inject horizontal neck lines to reveal a smoother appearance.
+ Temples: a subtle yet transformative treatment that restores volume and lift for sunken temples. This balances out the proportions between the forehead and cheeks to optimize facial harmony. Temple filler will also create a natural-looking brow lift to open up the eyes!
+ Hands: this treatment will smooth out the skin texture of the hands and is an excellent treatment to mask the veins and ligaments while improving the appearance of creping skin.

A versatile product that has a special place in our Hyaluronic Acid (HA) filler portfolio is Restylane Skinboosters®. Skinboosters Vital and Vital Lite are treatment products dedicated to targeting skin integrity, stimulating collagen and elastin, and softening the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Skinboosters can be used more superficially to improve skin quality, and can also be used as a dermal filler to treat the under eyes, hands, and lower face.
Results can last upwards of 6 months and may require a series of initial treatments depending on the specific outcome you are pursuing. Skinboosters are an innovative way to achieve natural-looking results without adding robust volume to the face.
Radiesse® is a dermal filler that is a biostimulant in cosmetic injectables. Developed by Merz, the pharmaceutical company that produces Belotero® fillers, Radiesse® is a calcium-based product that can be injected in various different ways to add lift and structure to the face while stimulating collagen production.
Our advanced injectors have been provided thorough hands-on training on Radiesse® and the areas that benefit most from its technology. Radiesse® can last up to 12 months and in some cases up to 24 months. It is optimal for cheek, chin, and jawline enhancement to increase definition and structure. A notable advantage of Radiesse® is that it does not draw water, which can lead to a swollen or puffy appearance. Radiesse® can also be diluted to treat creping skin of the neck, chest, and hands by stimulating collagen which improves the signs of aging.
Among the ones mentioned above, HealthOne also recommends other dermal fillers to suit your desired results. A consultation with our nurse injector will help determine which one is right for you.
Have you ever wondered what the difference is between Botox® and filler? Both Botox® and fillers come with their own advantages! Let’s explain the difference:
+ Designed to relax the muscles, particularly in the upper face for frown lines, crow’s feet, and forehead lines.
+ Usually lasts around 4 months.
+ Injected beneath the surface of the skin to restore volume, contour and streamline the face, soften scars, and improve the appearance of dark rings under the eyes.
+ Usually lasts between 6 and 24 months depending on the area being treated as well as the product used. Simply put, fillers fill and Botox® relaxes.

How long does a dermal filler treatment take?
Depending on the number of areas being treated, your treatment could take anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour. We always block off enough time in our schedule to ensure your injector can dedicate enough quality time to complete your treatment.
How long does a Botox® or Dysport® treatment take?
Neuromodulator injections are rather quick and can take 10 – 15 minutes on average.
How long does it take for me to see results from my Botox® or dermal filler treatments?
It can take up to two weeks to see full results from your Botox® or Dysport® Treatment. Dermal filler results are immediate; however, it requires two weeks for filler to fully integrate into skin tissue and to draw water.
How long does swelling last after dermal filler treatments?
Depending on the area being treated and the amount of product being injected into the face, it can take upwards of two weeks for all swelling, bruising, and tenderness to subside after your dermal filler treatment. In most cases, our patients feel fully healed within a matter of days post-treatment.
What is the difference between Botox® and dermal filler?
Dermal filler is comprised of hyaluronic acid gel to add volume and structure to the face. Botox® and Dysport® are comprised of botulinum toxin which is injected to relax muscle movement that contributes to the formation of fine lines and wrinkles.
Can you do Botox® and dermal filler at the same time?
Can I undergo Botox® or dermal filler while I am pregnant or breastfeeding?
No. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, we recommend refraining from injectable treatments to prevent any potential health risks or complications.
Can dermal filler be reversed?
Absolutely. Dermal filler can be dissolved by injecting hyaluronidase, the enzyme which breaks down hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronidase can work for up to two weeks, and sometimes multiple sessions are necessary.
Can Botox® or Dysport® be reversed?
No. Once you undergo your Botox® or Dysport® treatment, your body will naturally dispose of the toxin over the course of 3-4 months.
How long do dermal fillers last?
Dermal filler comes in a variety of different formulations, from very soft to very thick. Softer fillers can last anywhere from 4-6 months, whereas thicker fillers can last upwards of 9-18 months.
