Mariana is a licensed medical doctor from Brazil who, while completing her medical education, developed an interest in complementary medicine as well. She was given the opportunity to work with an experienced acupuncturist which introduced her to the concepts of Chinese Medicine and inspired her to expand her career. She previously worked as a Medical Intern at Hospital e Maternidade Celso Pierro in Brazil from 2015 to 2017. Now, Mariana has been working as a Registered Acupuncturist in Ontario since 2020.
She greatly enjoys providing her patients with an inclusive and safe space to heal while empowering them to take control of their health. Along with this, Mariana is passionate about providing treatments that are well-informed, comfortable, and focused on resolving the root cause of symptoms.
